1. Always Start from the Centre
Finding the centre of your fabric and pattern ensures your design is positioned correctly. Fold your fabric in half both ways to find the middle, then start stitching from there.
2. Keep Your Threads Tangle-Free

Cut your embroidery floss into manageable lengths to prevent knots.

Store thread in floss bobbins or organiser cards to keep colours sorted. See the instagram video HERE for how to make a card and how to use!
3. Use the Loop Start Method (No Knots!)
For a tidy start, use the loop start method. Not sure how? Check out the viral insta’ video HERE!
4. Keep Stitches Consistent
To make your piece look polished, always cross your stitches in the same direction (e.g., bottom-left to top-right first). This creates a smooth, uniform finish. My preference is bottom right - top left, but its your choice!
5. Make a Homemade Needle Threader!
